For the crust:
- 1 1/2 cups crushed chocolate cookies 🍪
- 1/4 cup melted butter 🧈
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar 🍬
For the filling:
- 24 oz (680 g) cream cheese, softened 🧀
- 1 cup granulated sugar 🍬
- 3 large eggs 🥚
- 1 cup sour cream 🥛
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract 🌱
- 1/4 cup milk
For the topping:
- 1 cup whipped cream 🥛
- Chocolate shavings 🍫
- Fresh strawberries 🍓

1️⃣ Prepare the crust:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix crushed cookies with melted butter and sugar.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes and let cool.
2️⃣ Make the filling:
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Mix in sour cream, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth.
- Pour the filling over the cooled chocolate crust.
3️⃣ Bake:
- Bake at 325°F (165°C) for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is almost set (it may still jiggle slightly).
- Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
4️⃣ Decorate:
- Whip the cream until stiff peaks form.
- Decorate the top of the cheesecake with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, and fresh strawberries for a stunning finish.
