Salmon Roasted in Butter

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound skinless salmon fillet, cut into 4 portions
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
    Directions:
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
  2. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are evenly spaced.
  3. Brush the melted butter generously over each fillet, coating the tops and sides.
  4. Sprinkle the fillets evenly with salt and black pepper.
  5. Arrange the lemon slices on top of the fillets, slightly overlapping them for an attractive presentation.
  6. Roast the salmon in the oven for 12-15 minutes, depending on thickness, or until it flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh dill and parsley for a fragrant and vibrant garnish.
