Jalapeño Cheese Squares 🧀🔥
Ingredients:
- 16 oz sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 16 oz Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 large eggs
- 2-3 fresh jalapeños, diced (seeds removed for less heat)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and eggs. Whisk them together until smooth.
- Stir in the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well blended.
- Fold in the shredded sharp cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, and diced jalapeños until evenly distributed.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool slightly before cutting into squares. Serve warm or at room temperature.
