Garlic Butter Steak and Shrimp Stir-Fried Noodles
Ingredients:
For the steak & shrimp:
1/2 lb beef steak, thinly sliced
1/2 lb shrimp, peeled & deveined
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp cornstarch (for steak)
1 tbsp olive oil
For the noodles:
8 oz noodles (lo mein, ramen, or spaghetti)
2 tbsp unsalted butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp hoisin sauce (optional)
1 tsp sesame oil
1 cup bell peppers, sliced
½ cup green onions, chopped
1 tsp red chili flakes (optional for heat)
Instructions:
1️⃣ Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside. 🍜
2️⃣ Season the steak with salt, pepper, 1 tbsp soy sauce, and toss with cornstarch. 🥩
3️⃣ In a hot skillet, heat olive oil and sear steak slices for 2–3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside. 🔥
4️⃣ Add shrimp to the same skillet. Cook for 2–3 minutes until pink. Remove and set aside. 🦐
5️⃣ In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant. 🧄🧈
6️⃣ Add bell peppers and cook for 2 minutes until slightly tender. 🫑
7️⃣ Return steak and shrimp to the skillet. Add cooked noodles, soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce (if using), and sesame oil. Mix well. 🍲
8️⃣ Toss everything together until fully coated and heated through. Top with green onions and chili flakes if desired. 🌶️🌿
