INGREDIENTS:
• 1 lb (450g) beef steak, thinly sliced or ground beef
• 1 red bell pepper, sliced
• 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
• 1 onion, sliced
• 2 tablespoons soy sauce
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1 teaspoon ginger powder
• 2 cups cooked rice
• 2 tablespoons sesame oil
• Salt and pepper to taste
• Fresh cilantro for garnish
DIRECTIONS:
In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned, about 4-6 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.
In the same pan, add sesame oil and sauté the onions and bell peppers for 3-5 minutes until tender.
Return the beef to the pan and add soy sauce, garlic powder, and ginger powder. Stir to combine and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
Serve the beef and pepper mixture over a bed of rice.
Garnish with fresh cilantro and a sprinkle of sesame seeds if desired.
